Terms of Service
1. The service
ClipMaxxing is a web application that helps you create vertical short videos (1080×1920) from a story, background video, voiceover, and synchronized captions. You may optionally publish finished videos to connected social accounts.
2. Accounts
You can create an account with your email and password when public signup is enabled. We may close signup at any time; existing accounts keep working. New accounts receive 160 welcome credits (prepaid balance, not cash). We use an HTTP-only session cookie (default lifetime: 30 days). Keep your credentials confidential and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Credits and billing
ClipMaxxing runs on prepaid credits. There is no subscription. Credits are consumed when you generate or evaluate text, generate background video, or run the full video pipeline. You can buy credit packs through a secure checkout. We do not store your card details; payment is handled by our payment processor. Purchased credits are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
4. Acceptable use
You must use ClipMaxxing lawfully and must not abuse the service. Upload limits apply (for example, up to 100 MB per source video and 20 MB per audio bed). We apply rate limits to protect the platform. You are responsible for the content you upload, generate, or publish.
5. AI output and third-party platforms
Generated scripts, voice, video, and captions are produced by third-party AI providers. We do not guarantee accuracy, quality, or fitness for a particular purpose. When you connect YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram, you also agree to those platforms' terms. If you use publish, videos are posted as public content on the selected account by default.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of content you provide. You grant ClipMaxxing a limited license to host, process, and transmit that content solely to operate the service (generation, storage, preview, download, and optional publishing). You must have the rights needed for your uploads and publications.
7. Data retention
Projects and associated files are kept for a limited time (14 days by default after creation, with one optional extension of 7 days per project). After expiry, projects are deleted automatically. You can delete a project yourself at any time before expiry. See our Privacy Policy for details.
8. Availability and liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClipMaxxing is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, or issues caused by third-party services or platforms.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
